A landmark building, monumental in size, which would make those seeing it exclaim “Coventry”.
The City’s answer to New York’s Statue of Liberty, Sydney’s Opera House or the North East’s Angel of the North; it would be situated in a location which would gain maximum exposure to as many people as possible.
Scope would be given to incorporate other ideas such as the Civic Hall into the building making it a working structure as opposed to one devoid of practical use.
